ONroute King City is proud to lead in environmental stewardship. A recent waste audit shows 69.2% of our waste is diverted from landfill, with potential to reach 80% through improved recycling.

What We’re Doing

• Recycling Stations: Multi-sort bins help guests separate waste correctly.

• Organics Collection: Over 130 tonnes of food waste are composted annually.

• Staff Training: Employees are trained to sort waste properly, with signage and protocols in place.

Key Findings

• Cardboard: 100% recyclable, with zero contamination.

• Mixed Recycling: Currently not diverted, 46.2% contamination rate.

• Organics: Make up nearly 40% of garbage, mostly food and paper towels.
